Rock-throwing kids

My husband has just had a rock thrown at him by a kid (around 12/13 wearing a bright red sweatshirt who hangs around with a little pal of around 9). I think they must live in one of the houses “on stilts” at the back of Torrox pueblo. We were walking down the slope to the village after parking the car up there. The force of it knocked his hat out of his hand and it could easily have hit him in the eye. We remonstrated with the kids but all we got was cheek and they ran up to the school teachers’ flats at the top, so I rang the Guardia Civil, who came round within 10 minutes and they dealt with them. They will probably start vandalising our cars now, so be warned. If you have any problems with these kids, call the Guardia on 952 53 80 08.

Quiz Night

At Las Fuentes, the restaurant at the entrance to Oasis de Capistrano, Nerja, there will be a fun quiz starting at 8pm on Friday 13th November with a raffle for the cats. No you do not get the cats you get prizes………

Burglars!

Just had reports of burglars getting into a house near me in Calle Caminillo, Torrox pueblo, at 4.00 a.m.

This is the SIXTH time this house has been burgled in 12 months. The owners were sleeping in there at the time. The house has an alarm fitted but that didn’t deter them. The burglars are now able to pick locks apparently.
